Stephen Brook: Deep red. Light cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, undemonstrative. Medium-bodied, quite silky, but simple and one-dimensional, with rather rugged tannins that dominate the slender fruit. Lacks acidity so rather short. 13

Michael Schuster: Dark red; nose very marked by new oak; light to medium-bodied wine where the limited fruit is completely dominated by oak dryness and astringency, finishes empty and tough. 10
