Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Sweet, somewhat raisiny nose, has some intensity. Soft, rounded, a touch broad and flabby, and the tannins are dense and grippy. Consequently, the balance is disturbed, and the fruit gradually fades into the background. Medium length. 13
Michael Schuster: Very dark red; ripe fruit and dry new wood to smell; limited, thin ripe fruit completely dried by its new wood tannin. Astringent to the point of unpleasantness. 9
