Stephen Brook: Very deep- red. Stewed cherries on the nose, lackluster. Fairly rich but rather soft and flabby, lacks verve, despite some quite assertive acidity on the mid-palate. Not harmonious, and despite that acidity, it lacks persistence and stylishness. Fades on finish, and modest length. 12.5

Stephen Browett: Medium color with nice cherry fruit on the nose. Medium weight on the palate with red cherry and strawberry fruit. Quite sweet and already attractive. An easy-drinking early maturer. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Dark red; cedary oaky nose; nicely balanced, medium-full wine with a good fruit core and a fine, light, dry tannin; gently fleshy ripe fruit of modest complexity, adequate freshness of acidity and nice, scented length; the oak tannin does dry the finish a bit, but this is nicely made and accessible early. Good. 14.5
