Stephen Brook: Very deep red, but already showing some evolution. Lightly raisiny nose, lacks freshness. Light, undernourished, and lacks stuffing, with firm tannins rather dominating the modest fruit. Low acidity, so little persistence here. Pleasant but simple, though has a sweet finish. Drink soon. 13.5
Michael Schuster: Dark red; light, ripe cherry fruit, but “woody” nose; thin in fruit and chewily astringent in texture. Short, empty, flat. Another St-Emilion where new oak astringency is the dominant impression. Hardly tastes of “wine” at all. 9
