BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A serious wine marked by distinctive saline notes, evolving towards the pine notes often found in this area, classic and focused if without any strong personality. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; fresh guava, citrus, and oak cedar on the nose; a lovely balance of complex fruit to lively acidity—a most attractive bite! Long, refined, and racy flavor, subtly Sauvignon Blanc, but mostly impressions of a really fine terroir quality and minerality; graceful, vivid, beautifully defined, and with excellent length. Best white Fieuzal for a long time. 2017–30+. 17.5+
