BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Very ripe, almost sweet to smell, but also dense, intense, cedary; a concentrated, vigorous, powerful dry wine, with an abundance of very ripe, sapid, aromatic fruit and good length. An unusual, deliberately late-picked, low-yield style, impressive to taste, if likely to be a bit exhausting to drink, at around 15.5% alcohol. Difficult to know quite how this will age, but it will certainly grab your attention early on! 15.5/16
