Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Impeccably successful: full, suave, velvety, and deep; elegance and power. 16
Michael Schuster: Very ripe nose, gently oaky too; fleshy, supple, harmonious, moderately complex St-Emilion, quite dry-edged from the new wood, but not excessively so; a very pure Merlot fruit flavor, slightly exotic in character (picked well into October...) almost Pomerol-like, and with good, spicy length. Attractive, drinkable early. 2011–18. 14.5+
