Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Very intense, with an impessive volume in the mouth (especially for the vintage). Pavie-Decesse is supported by its intense and ripe tannic structure, making it very taut. Undoubted potential. 17/17.5

Michael Schuster: Ripe, minerally nose; well balanced, fresh middleweight with a, currently, rather wood dry tannin texture; delicate, scented, moderately complex, gentle sweet core of fruit, and with nice, fragrant length; not a big wine, but quite refined. Dry texture suggests it will need a bit of time. 2015–25. 15.5
