Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Very pale. Magnificent secondary aromas of plum and pear, splendid acidity, and great clarity of flavor. Remarkably Barsac in style on the finish, with a distinct saline note of limestone! Excellent! 17

Michael Schuster: Turbid greeny gold; fine, fresh lemon and mineral nose; vivid, concentrated middleweight Sauternes; very sweet indeed, but with a nicely balancing fresh acidity; clear honey, limestone, and mineral flavors, long and racy in a typically good quality Barsac style. Particularly rich. 2012–30+. 16+
