Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; fresh, youthfully “spiky” Sauvignon Blanc nose; full, fairly concentrated, and with a deliciously vital acidity; deep, ripely dry, savory Sauvignon, prolonged and juicy without being heavy, velvety textured along with its nervy vitality, mouth-fillingly aromatic and minerally, and with great length. A refined, elegant, tautly stylish Pavillon Blanc of a “mere” 14% alcohol. Much more to my taste, and much more table friendly than the 15% heavyweights of the previous year or two. Broach in two or three years, probably good (and different) for decades. 2012–25+. 17.5/18
