Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A fine sample showing crisp, red-berry fruit, all the characteristics of the vintage and better-behaved tannins than some of its recent predecessors. Excellent work—a model for the rest of the bourgeoisie. 16
Michael Schuster: Mineral and ripe, red-fruit nose; very nicely balanced, lively middleweight with a fine, firm tannin; a nice, long, savory combination of ripe red fruit and delicate, gravelly fragrance; a long, refreshing, beautifully defined Chasse-Spleen. 2014–28+. 15.5/16+
