Michael Schuster: Fine, discreet, freshly fruity, oak-cedary nose; medium-full wine, overall supple (all that Merlot), mainly defined by its fine, dry, oak tannin; fresh, refined, and graceful Médoc with its soft, ripe blackberry fruit marked by spicy, toasty oak aromas, and a light, gravelly character; nice length in the mouth, and with the characteristic 2008 scent on a long finish; very nice, elegant, stylish Cru Bourgeois. Accessible early, 2012–20. 15/15.5+
