Michael Schuster: Sweet and dense on the nose; fairly full-bodied for the cru, rich, concentrated, firmly tannic St-Emilion; a gently muscular style, with a lovely freshness and purity of fruit, and with the perfume (from its high, one-third proportion of Cabernet Franc) that so often characterizes this wine; fine, scented length. More sinew and power than its fleshily seductive 2009, tasted alongside, and this will need longer to come around. A very attractive lesser St-Emilion, not overly powerful, and likely to be excellent value. 2018–28. 16/16.5+
