Michel Bettane: Good color, excellent quality of oak, nice body, nice texture, classical St-Estèphe fruit and balance, well made. 16
Thierry Desseauve: Fruity and spicy, good balance, ripe tannins, average finesse, but a powerful and sincere wine. 15.5
Michael Schuster: Closed but gently ripe minerally nose; a very firmly St-Estèphe constitution: tannic, chewy, sinewy wine, with a brisk red-fruit core; modest scope and length; not a lot of joy here on its own and needing protein-rich fare to allow the fruit through. A style you have to like! 2015–22+. 14
