Stephen Brook: Pronounced, verging on pungent, nose, with marked toast character, and pear, cooked apple, and peach notes. Ripe fruit evident. On the palate, acidity is firm and builds in the mouth. Some warmth from alcohol in the finish, which is rather coarse. Should develop and harmonize over a maximum of 5–6 years. Fair value at this price point .
