BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Good color, not very elegant and precise on the nose, supple, lacks center and focus in the mouth. No acidity but no tension in the aftertaste. 14.5

Thierry Desseauve: The fruit is tender, but the wine lacks depth. Nevertheless, it expresses a very sincere personality, in a not very complex but honest way. 15

Michael Schuster: Lightly sweet, very slightly herbaceous nose; fresh middleweight, with a firm fruit tannin. A little “edgy” and dry to taste at the moment and, though quite fine, just lacks charm; seems to be a touch of unripeness here, which makes the wine finish a bit short for its class. Disappointing on this showing. Should be better. 2014–22? 15.5
