Michel Bettane: Good dark color, discrete nose, austere, no great charm, medium body, strict tannins but not too dry, simple fruit, nothing special. 14

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color with a hint of brown. Brown tobacco aromas, strong tannins, classic, and a bit rustic Médoc, but it has freshness on the finish. Correct from now to five years. 14

Michael Schuster: Closed to smell; nicely balanced, moderately chewy medium-weight; a very “dry” claret character to taste, modest complexity and length, but nice lesser claret in its slightly lean 2006 style. Accessible now, with food. 2011–16. 14
