Michel Bettane: Excess of oak, unpleasant (for me) unripe tannins, straight, short. 13

Thierry Desseauve: Good color, smoky and toasty nose, fleshy but not very complex. Drink over 5 years. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Relatively closed to smell, light blackcurrant-fruit-and-gravel nose; fresh, relatively supple medium-weight with a lightly dry tannin; pleasant, fresh flavor of modest depth and reach; nice definition though, and good light length. Good lesser Graves. Leave a year or two. 2012–18. 15.5
