Michel Bettane: Excellent color, noble spicy nose, excellent texture; complex and elegant, very deftly extracted tannins, lots of class. Classical Bordeaux balance. 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Linear, fine, energetic, intense and aristocratic: the terroir de côte at its best. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Soft, sweet, perfumed nose, lovely quality, very persistent; beautifully balanced, rich, fresh, middleweight, with a very fine tannin; long, sweet, scented and refined palate; a most harmonious wine, elegant, refined, scented and complex; tannin fairly firm but great scope and wonderfully scented persistence. Superb combination of scent and fruit and delicacy. Lovely! 2015–28+. 17.5
