Michel Bettane: Excellent blue/red color, classical earthy nose, some minerality (not found in any Pomerol); less ripe berries than Oratoire but more blue berry fruit; elegant. 17

Thierry Desseauve: Oaky and toasty style on the nose; dry tannins in the mouth. Classic but austere. 14

Michael Schuster: Slightly “raw” to smell, but quite aromatic; ripe fruit core, rich and savory, but with a rather dominant new-oak tannin for the available fruit? Good, but a bit wood dry; for the present anyway. Needs 5–6 years at least. 2015–22+. 15
