Michel Bettane: Dark color, earthy truffle-like classical Pomerol aroma; good body, good intensity, well made, and able to age. Wait 6–7 years. 16
Thierry Desseauve: Deep color, toasty nose, fat body with soft tannins. The wine is in a classic Pomerol style, but it lacks depth. 15
Michael Schuster: Dense, cedar-and-caramel Merlot nose; fair balance, moderate concentration, but quite dry tannin texture for the available fruit; quite refined flavor of moderate complexity, but very firm (oak?) tannin, which pinches the wine toward the end and leaves one with a quite “tough” impression and very dry finish. Will need time. 2016–25. 15.5
