Michel Bettane: Good color, floral on the nose, very elegant texture and tannin; not a blockbuster but a charming and harmonious expression of an excellent terroir. Sweet tannin but not oversweet; a lot of precision in the winemaking. Good balance with oak. 17.5
Thierry Desseauve: Dark-purple color. Brilliant nose: toast, cigar box, black fruits. Super-silky tannin, exuberant and fine; only Pomerol can produce this class of wine! Pleasure, pleasure, pleasure! From now to 10 years. 19
Michael Schuster: Dark, narrow-rimmed red; a sweet core of ripe fruit with a clear, slightly dry, new-wood character, too; fine fruit, just a little dominated by the new oak. A fine wine, a little wood-dry, but with a delicate, beautifully refined, sweet fruit and good, scented length. Very nice, with both length across the palate and fine scent to finish. A lovely, feminine expression of Pomerol. 2013–23+. 17
