BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Golden color; less focused and rich on the nose than most; more linear, less “roasted” berries; simple for a first but well balanced and no special fault, simply less care in the selection. 15

Thierry Desseauve: Gold, gold, gold color. A taste of honey with quince; fat, generous, but quite simple. 15

Michael Schuster: Deep, mature gold; fine, sweet, minerally nose; rich, sweet, generous, but of moderate scope, and medium length; very sweet and very attractive, but not especially classy, and some way from the potential of this very great terroir. Now–2030+. 16
