Andrew Jefford: Dark though not particularly dense black-red. Warm, soft ,and earthy aromas, perhaps lacking a little precision and lift compared to the best of its peers. Soft, rich, gentle, and open, very smooth in texture: amply fruited, and the fruit unquestionably provides the core of the wine here, but one might hope for a little more tannic wealth and fruit core from this fine site. This is very sound Pomerol for the short to mid-term nonetheless, and the class of the site is present in the wine’s intrinsic complexity of flavor. 2018–26. 91
Michael Schuster: Densely ripe to smell, with the merest hint of leafiness; rich, full, fleshy, ample wine defined by a fine, firm tannin frame; ripe and generous to taste, mouth-coating, aromatic, gently spicy, very long and complex across the palate, and prolonged and scented to finish. A fine, powerful, muscular Pomerol, needing years but with patience to be rewarded. 2028–45+. 94
