Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: bright color; the nose is delicately defined, with notes of fresh ripe fruit and pretty floral nuances. the wine is linear, distinguished, elegant, and silky, with velvety tannins. Impressive depth. brilliant. 18
Michael Schuster: Fat, ripe blackberry fruit to smell; very nice balance, full, concentrated, fresh to vital in acidity, and with the house style’s slightly dry (for me) tannin texture; long, fresh, subtly complex, with real St-Emilion delicacy and purity of fruit; no excess force here: you can “see” and taste the wine—at last. Excellent sweet length, too. Very fine. Lovely wine. 2018–30+. 17
