Michael Schuster: A fine blackberry fruit to smell; rich, vital mid-weight, with a very fine tannin; elegant, linear, refined; lovely ripe core fruit, marked minerality; long, fine, firm. A fine, slightly austere style but aromatically complex. This used to be Chateau Tertre Daugay, but it is now owned by Haut-Brion. Dragon de Quintus is the second wine. Why “dragon”? Can’t imagine! 2020–35+. 17
