Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: dense, fresh, floral; impressively refined, with dense and elegant tannins, and a fresh, subtle, floral finish. 17

Michael Schuster: L’Eglise-Clinet’s second label (as distinct from a second wine). ripe plummy nose, with a clear touch of mineral; beautifully balanced fresh wine, with a lovely core of fruit and a very fine, firm tannin; long, even, velvety textured to taste; juicy, generous, fleshy, and with a delicious fruit persistence. the very image of pomerol, a seriously fine and complete petite Eglise—one of the best yet. 2018–28. 16.5
