Andrew Jefford: Mid- to full gold in color. Earthy and engaging, with ripe orchard fruit and even a little guava. Lively and fresh, dry, balanced, harmonious, and finally vinous: a wine of sinew, energy, and poise, its ripe acidity beautifully covered by the fruit flavors and working very well in the dry idiom. Its origins lend it a little relative warmth and force, but it would still be marvelously versatile at table and remains delicate, fresh, and even attractively slight in the world context. 15.5
Andreas Larsson: Floral and aromatic on the nose, with hints of orange zest, ginger, and stone fruit, but also with a clear notion of minerality. The palate is finely balanced and offers layers of fruit, a juicy acidity, a well-rounded texture, and a long, mineral aftertaste. 17.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Bright straw yellow. Again, more classic Riesling flavors, like golden apples and white peaches. Very elegant and mineral on the palate, piquant and thrilling; still drying a little bit at the end, but there is concentration, a nice fruit core, and roundness as well. Racy acidity. Firmly structured, very clear and pure on the palate. Very promising, though shut down at the moment. No charm. Bone-dry. Very good potential. 16.5
