Andrew Jefford: Pale gold, with some silver glints. Fresh, sweet, warm, and attractive, if lacking a little of the aromatic precision of some of its peers. On the palate, the wine is dry, expressive, and delicate—very true to the varietal ideal but without enormous articulacy. It’s concentrated, though, with crisper acidity than some and a flush of spritz, which adds to the bright palate impact. A delicious drink, though perhaps not a wine to spend hours over, and another successful dry Riesling. 14

Andreas Larsson: Pure, floral, and perfumed; very elegant fruit and mineral notes. The palate is nicely built, managing to combine a rather light structure with great flavor intensity and brilliant freshness, delicate fruit, and splendid length: a very elegant wine. 17

Stephan Reinhardt: Luminous white/golden color. Delicious Riesling aromas, very clear, pure, and piquant, married with soil scents. Very mineral and piquant on the palate, refreshing and clear, although again this wine is still dominated by its sur lie aging, which gives a slightly dry finish at the moment. Very well balanced, medium- to full-bodied, creamy in texture (some residual sugar?); salty and piquant, a little bit chalky in the finish. Lingering salinity and complexity. This wine should be marketed a year later, since it is still an embryo. I will score it 18 next time. 17.5
