BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Bright silver-gold. A fine rain of spring flowers, drenching ripe dessert-apple fruit. On the palate, the wine is slightly tense and abrupt compared to the best of its peers, without their sense of languid extension, and the aromatic richness doesn’t quite persist on the palate. Bright and classic nonetheless—and some may actually prefer that acidic pungency. 15

Andreas Larsson: Floral and fragrant, with hints of fresh grapes, flower, and wet stone. It starts out quite discreetly on the palate, with restrained fruit and a bright acidity; however, it lingers for a good while and keeps going on the aftertaste. Still youthful and unknit but with fine potential. 15.5

Stephan Reinhardt: Bright straw yellow. Yeast and a touch of honey on the nose. Quite dense and ripe. Rich and powerful on the palate. Indeed, I fear this wine is too powerful to stand longer bottle aging. A little bit rustic and drying on the end. 14.5
