Stephen Browett: Medium-deep color with a little fade. Lovely, inviting nose of ripe fruit and new oak. Sweet, sexy black fruit but with some balancing tannins. Already a pretty gorgeous mouth-full of Pauillac, but it has the structure as well as the flesh to keep. Not a blockbuster but a fine wine, even if it is surprisingly forward for this property. 16.5
Michael Schuster: Mid brick-rimmed red; fresh, fine, ripe red fruit and mineral-infused nose; an elegantly balanced, supple yet fresh, finely tannic middleweight, fine without being big or muscular; long, ripe, elegant flavor, subtly minerally and with excellent length; classic claret in a not so classic year! Refined and classy, and very nice indeed. A notably lovely harmony in the vintage, beautifully made and conceived. Accessible early because the tannins and the balance are so fine, but no hurry either. From 2012. 17
