Michael Schuster: Tropical fruit, very ripe Sauvignon Blanc characters of melon, pineapple, guava, tinged with new oak cedar; a very full but not hefty wine, with its abundant, richly ripe fruit defined by a vigorous acidity; long, close-grained and complex, and remarkably harmonious considering its 15%+ alcohol; excellent length, but you do notice the alcoholic warmth on the finish. Remarkable, though I’m not really sure of its place at table. It may well keep, but probably better drunk sooner rather than later. 2012–20. 17
