Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Tasted at the château. A very harmonious wine: aromas of black fruits, well-defined and savory, with a marvelously unctuous texture, an extraction of unworldly precision, and great length. 18

Michael Schuster: Dense, ripe blackberry/blueberry Merlot nose; an excellent, elegant balance; fairly concentrated, very fine-textured, full of sweetly ripe, subtly complex fruit; suave, even, complete, with lovely length across the palate and on the finish. A beautifully seductive, deliciously accessible Palmer. 2015–25+. 17+
