Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Lovely grapefruit expression in a very refined white wine that manages to capture the essence of the Sauvignon Gris, which accounts for half of the blend—sadly, half of the harvest was lost to frost on 7 April. 16

Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; dense citrus zest, tropical fruit and new oak nose; dry but abundantly ripe fruited flavor defined by a very keen acidity, and given breadth by a clear, minerally aromatic complexity; very good length, fine La Garde. 2012–20. 15.5/16
