Stephen Brook: Lean yet seductive apricot-and-apple nose, with a discreet minerality. Fresh and crisp; a pure racy style; concentrated and tight. There’s moderate acidity to sustain the fruit but as yet little complexity. The balance is admirable, though, and this has some elegance. But it’s hard to say whether more complexity will emerge with time. A bit more acidity would have lifted the wine to a higher plane. 16
Simon Larkin: Deep in hue—golden. The aromas here are restrained, understated. The palate shows a fresh vein of acidity, lively, still generous, with pear and greengage fruits, as well as notes at the more exotic end of spectrum. There is an appealing, juicy succulence to this example, which shows in a cool, refined manner. Elegant, with good persistence. A fine effort, suggesting the product of a cooler vintage. 14
Andreas Larsson: The nose shows more development than many, with spices and a yellow fruit character. A nice, viscous palate, but still with a tangy freshness and some bitter citrus notes. Well balanced and long. Very good. 17
