Stephen Brook: Voluptuous, heady nose, with a good deal of tropical fruit such as mango, as well as stone fruits. Much leaner on the palate, with a dash of CO2 to support it, but this has wandered, just, over the border into overripeness. It’s not enough to spoil the balance of the wine, but it robs it of some precision and finesse. Nonetheless, some minerality comes through, the wine has heft, and there is reasonable length of flavor. 16
Simon Larkin: Less viscous, showing some CO2 in the glass. The nose is delicate and restrained, with some floral, herbal elements. On the palate, there is a lightness to the wine, a gentle spritz, with modest expression of greengage fruit. This seems cooler and not as generous in terms of ripeness. Elegant, restrained even, but a little lacking and diffuse. Although not tainted, there is a little fresh mushroom here, adding to a muffled expression. Sound—nothing more. 12
Andreas Larsson: Nice clarity on the nose, pure and mineral, with elegant fruit and a nice bite on the palate. Long and lingering, with a bright freshness and mineral finish. Nicely made, on the elegant side. Still a bit young, but with fine potential. 16.5
