Stephen Brook: Ripe appley nose, with a hint of oiliness that reminds me of Chardonnay rather than Riesling. Lush and plump, this seems overripe. Reasonably concentrated, but it lacks zest and precision. A solid wine, with a little minerality but not a great deal of personality. 14.5

Simon Larkin: Deep in hue; there is a certain viscosity to this style. Very honeyed and with some residual sweetness, this is a rich style. Despite its evident weight, there is a poise on show here, with juicy, honeyed, caramelized fruit. A very generous style of Riesling, this just seems a little cumbersome on account of the viscous nature and heady alcohol. Nonetheless, there is fine persistence on show. 14.5

Andreas Larsson: Intense and complex, with some spicy saffron notes and ripe stone fruit. The palate is offering generous fruit, a slight hint of sweetness, and a balanced acidity—rather full, with good length. A nice, accessible example; well balanced and enjoyable. 15
