BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Ripe, peachy nose. Broad, opulent, and full-bodied, with very ripe fruit. It’s a touch heavy, though, and needs more lift. Some residual sugar comes through on the mid-palate, which would be acceptable if there were more acidity. It’s fruit-forward and juicy but lacks the bite and vigor I look for in Riesling. 14

Simon Larkin: Very slaty, almost sulfurous nose. A leaner, cleaner style, with fine acidity and green fruit characters. Far more apple in nature, though perhaps baked apple. There is a certain sweetness here, liked baked patisserie. Creamy and soft but slightly toffeed. Very fine focus and poise. 15

Andreas Larsson: The nose is showing some hints of petrol and rubber—not really pure, to me. The palate is flat and on the sweeter side, with an abrupt finish. 7
