Michael Schuster: Deep, pale rimmed black-red; very ripe fruit combined with a subtle gravel/mineral scent on the nose; rich, elegantly balanced, refined Pauillac; with a fine concentration of fruit, a refined tannin and a freshly defining acidity; a particularly elegant style of Pauillac, long and fine and even to taste, full of gently ripe fruit, mouthcoating scent and classic claret ‘freshness’ - a most winning combination. Long and classy without being particularly ‘big’. 2012-25+.
