BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dark red; very sweetly ripe nose, verging on jammy; nicely balanced in its super-ripe style, easy, open, sweet-fruited within a slightly dry oak tannin; moderate complexity, medium length, but finishes rather oak dry. Accessible relatively soon because of the juicy fruit core. Would perhaps have been even nicer with a little less new oak. 2012–20. 15
