Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Light, delicate, perfumed nose, raspberries and cherries. Silky attack, reasonably concentrated, a very discreet style but doesn’t lack grip, and there’s appealing acidity on the finish. Self-effacing now and needs time to unfurl. Good length. 17

Andrew Jefford: Deep red-black. Sweet and warm, but lacks aromatic focus and precision. Vivacious and fresh, lively, dancing, lots of charm. A very pure, soprano evocation of the vintage offering a bright mouthful in the short to medium term, backed by silky tannins. Fresh, neat finish, without bitterness. 15

Michael Schuster: Light, sweet, fresh-fruit nose; elegantly balanced, restrained, middleweight wine with a fine, dry tannin; ripe and sweet and subtle; a long, sweet, scented, gently minerally wine, with a firm but not excessive tannin and good length. Needs several years but should develop well. 2012–20+. 16 +
