Stephen Brook: Light gold. Stewed apricot nose, some honey, too, with less freshness than many others of this vintage. Quite rich on the palate, with attractive apricot and peach fruit and fine concentration. A good deal of spice and vigor to enliven a creamy texture. The stewed-fruit character is far less evident on the palate. Fine balance and length. Delicious. 17

Andrew Jefford: Full yellow-gold. Another hugely enjoyable aroma of butter, peach, and balsam, open and welcoming. Lush, soft, full, open, accessible, balanced, and enjoyable, and with better finishing acidity than most. The vintage has been intelligently interpreted here, and the result is a generous wine of open texture and some complexity, to be drunk soon. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Bright mid-gold; intense, persistent, honey and wax nose; beautifully balanced, fresh, elegant, classically discreet Barsac; very sweet, but no excess, long, tasty, subtly complex flavor with a lovely freshness and definition all the way through, and then excellent length to follow. Delicious. Now to 2020+. 16+
