Alex Hunt: Rich but slightly indistinct aromas of apricots and glue are pleasant but not that engaging—but then the palate has real crackling piquancy, with marked acidity and grilled-lemon flavors that tell a very different story. Certainly with this structure, longevity should not be a problem, so maybe wait for this to open out aromatically - 16
Andrew Jefford: Deep honeyed gold. There is some honeyed apricot here, but notes of furniture polish seem to have the upper hand. On the palate, this is vivid, bright, fresh—almost dry, in truth—with ample lemon acid and grape acid. It’s concentrated, and there is a little mineral residuum, but blind I might have guessed it was 3 or 4 putts, not 5. Tokaji as a very bracing apéritif - 13
Mark Savage: Pale amber. The nose less perfectly clean than it might have been, less fresh, but then it is no longer a really young wine, and we must allow it to have developed some secondary characteristics. I would not, however, expect it to progress to greatness with further time, and its potential seems limited by comparison with the previous wine, which was only a year younger. Nice but not memorable - 14.5
