Alex Hunt: 83
Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark purple-red: one of the deepest of the cohort. Bright, tarry, sour-cherry fruits: very appetizing. Booming and full. On the palate, this is soft, deep, vivid, commanding: a great roar of fruit both black and red in style, and with just enough tannin (less than many) to see it engage with food with aplomb. Excellent wine, which is grand yet respects the “fruit-first” ideal of Fleurie. 92
Peter Liem: This feels a little stunted and short despite its high ripeness, appearing strangely hollow and incomplete on the palate. 81
