Andrew Jefford: Dark purple-black. A little bit sweet and uneventful in scent compared to the best of its peers. This is a real shame, as on the palate this is a hugely impressive wine, with a great carpet of black cherry that unrolls across the tongue, backed by ample, juicy, calving tannins: delicious drinking, and a multidimensioned, energetic mouthful. Certainly a top score if only the aromas were a little finer. 90
Peter Liem: The dark, berry-like fruit is complicated by hints of exotic spice, while the energetic structure keeps this feeling lively and focused from start to finish. It isn’t terribly complex, but it’s harmonious and expressive and delicious to drink. 89
