Essi Avellan: Deep lemon-gold color. Soft appley nose with cheesy tones, hay, and honey. Very ripe fruit profile. Round, muscular palate, on the winey side. Plenty of fruit but comes across as one-dimensional. Nice lightening freshness at the finish, though. 87

Alex Hunt: Good strong color and a rich, bready nose that offers a fine balance of freshness and maturity. A plumply savory style on the palate, albeit with plenty of acidity still on the finish. This is a pretty archetypal rendition of Vintage Champagne. 91

Tom Stevenson: Fine pale lemon color; developed aromas on nose and palate. A joy to drink now but aging fairly rapidly, so it’s best to drink up. 86
