Tim Atkin: Deep color. Lots of oak on the nose; plum and blackberry, with a touch of reduction. Sweet palate, touch of orange peel again; savory, rich, but complex. Finishes a little too dry and alcoholic. 16

Jesús Barquín: Deep cherry, almost opaque. A tad reduced, mature, with spicy and toasty notes above a background of black fruit. The palate is fairly tannic but equally fresh and long. It seems as though it is still closed and wanting to define its orientation. 15

Alex Hunt: Compact berry-fruit aromas, still quite unevolved. Dense, focused, tannic on the palate. Quite a severe, mineral style (though fully ripe) that I hope will blossom with further bottle age. 15.5
