Michel Bettane: Excellent color, nice cedary nose, classical St-Estèphe balance and body; ripe grapes, superb value for money, very well made. 16.5
Thierry Desseauve: Very classic, very sincere, and undoubtedly very good: cedar, powerful but ripe texture, energy, good balance. Not the finest, but highly recommendable. Wait five years at least. 17
Michael Schuster: Sweet, spicy, marked minerally fruit on the nose; elegantly balanced, firmly tannic wine; plenty of ripe, quite complex fruit, gravelly mineral-backed, with nice length in the mouth behind the very firm St-Estèphe tannin frame, and with fine aromatic length. Charm? No, but quite classy and with abundant flavor. A wine needing plenty of bottle age to soften. 2017–30. 16
