Michael Schuster: Dense, fragrant, and sweet, if lightly oaky to smell; stylish, elegant balance, the weight notwithstanding; fullish, ample wine, with a firm and firmly dry tannin; freshly ripe fruit backed by a vital acidity to taste; compact, close-knit, muscular and sinewy style of Pomerol, with superb black-fruit length. Juicy and serious at once. You sense here the long-term character of much of this vintage. Verges on the potent. 2025–40. 17/17.5
