John Gilman: La Tour Blanche has turned out very well indeed in 2010. The bouquet is deep, nicely glazed with clean botrytis, and notably complex, offering up scents of oranges, pineapple, honey, spring flowers, citrus peel, chalky soil tones, and vanillin oak. On the palate, the wine is deep, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced, with a fine core of fruit, nice framing acids, excellent focus, and very good length and grip on the honeyed and classy finish. A lovely example and likely to be one of the very best values of the vintage. 2013–35. 17+
